Contactless payment devices such as the security key chain "Fobs" (recently seen in Discover Card commercials), have been shown by recent market studies to be extremely appealing to consumers, merchants, and card issuers as a result of the convenience and speed that they offer. Leading U.S. companies such as McDonald’s have announced plans for supporting contactless payment key fobs, and these devices are expected to be provided to millions of consumers in the next few years.

Cell Phones equipped with contactless chips have also been shown by market studies to be extremely popular for supporting Mobile Commerce functions, including “pay with a wave” at merchant counters. CardXX has been providing prototype Cell Phone Contactless Payment modules to clients and plans to provide a solution to this market with superior security and reliability.
